Description
Overtime the foam on the drivers seat will “roll” over the metal support frame, this in turn causes the seat cover to become loose and the foam underneath to get damaged. The goal of this reinforcement plate is to provide support to the outer most part of the seat to prevent that. Adding this reinforcement plate in addition to using a steamer on your seat foam is a great budget method to breathe new life into your seat.
Here is a youtube video of using the steamer that I made : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osiLLQctbuM
The reinforcement bracket comes coated with some black spray paint and with two 5/16 self tappingĀ screws to secure it to the original seat frame. You will need to drill 1 hole for the rear most bolt.
